A: If your present hosting provider can no longer match the requirements of your web site, or if you go through constant downtime, or if you have to wait for hours for the client support staff to respond to you, it might be smart to change your web hosting provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your web sites as well as your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At NewHost Global, we know that this can be difficult & time–consuming. This is why we will do all that for you at no cost!Our trained technical team members will move your website content from your current web hosting provider to us. Our techs have a lot of experience with web site migration and can take care of everything – from an ordinary WordPress–powered weblog or Joomla^™–powered web site, to an extremely complex, custom–built application.

A: There are a lot of factors to keep in mind – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the present workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That said, we do try to perform all website migrations in a 48–hour period. Less sizeable websites are migrated faster – usually within 24 hours.

A: We do not need any private data. We will require, though, the login info for your current hosting account along with the name of the website that you want to migrate.

A: In order for us to start the transfer of your web hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share the very same info you have provided to your present hosting provider. We also have an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how personal data is dealt with.

A: Your site will work exactly like it did before with your previous hosting provider. As soon as we are done with the transfer, your website will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is working correctly, all you will need to do is update the NS records associated with your domain. Your website will be migrated over to us with no downtime.

A: No. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider about anything. They won’t be aware of the web site migration either.

A: We support all Linux–based web hosting platforms. Essentially, if we can get access to your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source site creation platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
