If you don’t want to risk omitting a legitimate email that may be mistaken for spam because of its content, you can also configure custom email filters based on the sender, the subject or the body of the email message and re-send the emails to some other mailbox where you can check them at a later point in time.
Spam Filters in Semi-dedicated Hosting
In case you use one of our semi-dedicated hosting, you won’t have to worry about unsolicited bulk email messages filling up your mailboxes every once in a while, as you can make use of the popular SpamAssassin spam filter that we provide with each and every semi-dedicated server account. Our in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel will permit you to enable the filter for any mailbox with a couple of clicks and you can pick any of the five protection levels – from very high to very low. The level can be changed at any moment if, for example, genuine messages get blocked, or if unsolicited bulk messages go through and reach your inbox. To take no chances, you can choose all filtered email messages to be delivered to a special email account like firstname.lastname@example.org and not to be erased. In this way, you can check them from time to time to make sure that you haven’t missed out on an authentic email message.
